When you buy a ticket online for the Flat Out Days Festival, there are some rules about returns because of EU consumer rights:
1. Withdrawal Period
No 14-Day Right of Withdrawal for Event Tickets: Purchasing tickets for the Flat Out Days Festival does not include a 14-day right of withdrawal. This means you cannot change your mind and ask for a refund after buying the ticket, even if you buy it online or through other distance selling methods. This policy applies because the event is tied to a specific date, and once purchased, the ticket is non-refundable unless otherwise stated due to event cancellation or significant changes.
2. Refunds and Exchanges
Event Cancellation: If the festival is canceled, you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds must be requested within 30 days of the cancellation announcement and will be processed through the original point of purchase. No Refund After Entry: Once you've entered the event with your ticket, no refunds or exchanges are generally available.
3. Conditions for Refund
Legal Exceptions: Refunds are not available for changes in the event's scheduled program, unless these changes are significant enough to materially alter the event as advertised. Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure (like extreme weather, government restrictions, or health emergencies), no refunds will be given for event interruptions or cancellations, unless legally mandated.
4. How to Request a Refund
If the festival is canceled, you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds must be requested within 30 days of the cancellation announcement and will be processed through the original point of purchase.
5. Partial Refund Policy
In some cases, like partial event cancellation or if only certain parts of the event are affected, you might be eligible for a partial refund, which would be calculated based on the services you did not receive.
6. Exchanges
Ticket exchanges are generally not available unless explicitly offered by the event organizers as part of a special promotion or in response to event changes.
